Blood in my fresh duck egg!

So this morning when I collected my duck eggs, I accidentally dropped one, so I took it inside and cracked it in the dogs bowl to feed to the dogs. I was shocked to see like a ring around the yolk of blood. What does this mean?!

It's probably a larger than average blood/meat spot. It happens when a piece of tissue breaks off while the yolk is released from the ovary. It's just something that occasionally happens, it doesn't mean that anything is wrong.

@junebuggena So...it's kinda like a reverse nose bleed for ducks??? I didn't even know this could happen.
