Can you please post some photos of the poop and of the chick that is not well?
What dosage of Corid are you using?
In the morning I will look for poop for specimen photos. To refresh what I said in post #1, I was hunting for threads with pictures others had shared in their "blood in poop" threads to compare to what I had seen in our coop/run.
***** Main reason?
Our DSL connection has been so horrendous the last 4 weeks now that uploading even small pics is a crap shoot.... Yes I have had some rare occurrence to upload big pics randomly then seconds later upload is nearly zero data rate.
As of now it is technically Thursday because it's 12:17 AM and this situation has put me in rescue mode for 48+ hrs.
Tuesday early afternoon kiddos came to tell me one of the hens had bloody poop.
I inspected then went right to searching in BYC. Then found the thread with what med to get & recommend dosages from the containers.... As well as wisdom from folks as they struggled through this fast moving parasitic issue.
There was also advice in a seperate thread about giving a drop or two directly in the beak for a metaphorical "booster shot" if I may use such a term.
Given the dilution of the med in Liquid form - it seemed logical that such a "booster shot" was reasonable and mostly sane.
Sadly, the "8 wk old chickie" who was the runt of that batch passed away Tuesday before midnight; then the sexlink who was in a crate solo had passed before sunrise the next morning. And now this Brahma that went before midnight tonight..... I'm feeling very down & worried I may need to find a "Vet" that does post mortem or at least do a/some tests for this ugly & fast bug?
