Blood in stool???

I have chicks that are about 7 weeks old. Today I found red strans in some of the poop on the floor of the coop. I've been letting them out during the day and I gave them some grit. Do they have a desease or do I need to give them more grit?? what's wrong?

If you don't see any other symptoms, it may just be a little bit of sloughed-off intestinal lining. Nothing to worry about, I have been advised on this forum earlier.

There is a site you can go to look at normal vs abnormal chicken poop. Weird but very informative. There is a link to it on the forum here, but I dont know what it is. You might just try searching for "normal chicken poop photo" on our search feature.
