Blood on egg

One of my hens is laying eggs that has blood on them. I checked them all out and I didn't see anything wrong with any of them. What could be causing it?

It really isn't that uncommon. Likely a blood vessel rupture in the uterus.

I've seen blood spots for years, however, that's a lot of blood.
Just make sure she doesn't get lethargic.
It may continue for a few days but she should be OK.
