Blood on first egg?

My polish layed her first egg yesterday and it had a decent amount of blood on it! I was a bit surprised and so I checked out her bum and things seemed in order. Today she layed another egg and it was totally fine. She doesnt seem in pain or out of the ordinary.
Was it because it was her first?
I figure I'll keep a watch on her just in case

Sounds like you are doing great. I occasionally get an egg with blood on it. I think this is normal.

My 6 buff orpington hens all had bloody first eggs. Congrats on your first polish eggs
