Blood on my eggs

Hi, can anyone tell me... If a chicken starts laying eggs, will there be blood on it? I found an egg in the week with blood on it and this morning I found another one but it is definitely not the same chicken. The egg colour and size is different. So the only thing I could think of is that maybe it is a first time egg layer?

Yep, first time layers often have blood on their eggs. I wouldn't be worried unless it keeps happening

Oh ok thank you, I thought that could be it. I didn't get any more... so then I have two new egg layers. great

Older layers can have that happen once in a while too.
