Sorry that we were late, but posts that come late at night sometimes are seen by many--glad you posted again. Just to clarify about the soil, you can have coccidia strains in your yard that are different from your next door neighbor's. Sometimes chickens will have a little piece of shed intestinal lining in their stools that resembles blood also, and this is normal.
