Blood question

How much blood does a chicken have? And is there any use for it, if not is it OK to just dump it in the grass or give it to the dogs?

Have no idea how much. It will not hurt the grass. Or the compost pile. I would not want the dogs to get a taste of it, not in its raw state. Might give them ideas.

Fine for the grass, and fine for the dogs. Raw meat and blood won't make dogs get a "bloodlust."

full grown roosters usually will bleed out about 1cup give or take. I usually cook the blood in some boiling water before feeding it to my dog
