blood ring or blind

im not seeing any roo in the ginnys yet and they are cute as a button ! yours seem to grow so fast. yes, the broody was a first timer . she only laid a couple eggs and then started setting. lol I took the first one to pip and finished up in the house. she kept the second one and rejected the 3rd. she is a seabright mix . I dont think she had even been mated yet. very young. this early spring i was told. I dont know though. people tell you anything.

Some can be broody anytime can't they if the fit takes them? I'm not sure though either. Thanks for the reassurance on the Ginny chicks my fingers are firmly crossed for them and my Mum!! It's the combs that worry me I'm hoping they are just like it because of Ginny. She has a big comb so I'm just hoping that's why. Can't decide on the runty polish though just today it's been going round with its tail very upright and trying to be 10 men with the bigger chicks!!

runty sounds roo. LOL the broody mama, they normally lay more then 3 eggs before first broody as far as i know. some are more prone then others. she seemed happy to get off the nest. she didnt wait around to see if they would be back. maybe you would think about some silkie hens. they love to sit eggs. this one sat one big egg and 2 med. all three made it. I was very surprised to get back every thing i sold. LOL

not sure if i told you about my sons cat. he had one for many ys. he was a therapy cat for him. he died about 6 months ago or more . dont really remember. he had him for about 12-14 yrs. well, yesterday i took my boy to the shelter and he did pick a new cat. one yr. old girl this time. my signature on the bottom of my post was about his cat. he taught my son how to open up and say i love you , miss u , ect... He will always be in our hearts but the smile on my boys face yesterday told me i was doing the right thing. she is spayed, shots, wormed, micro chipped, hypoallergenic. all for 9 bucks. and she is a bit rare. a korat.

No granny you didn't say about the cat. Sorry your son lost his cat, how sad for him, I love cats too I have two we'll sort of two right now. Barnie my older cat is 14 got him just before my son was born from the farm. Where ever we moved he stayed, we have been in this house about 9 years now and two years he ago he decided to start visiting some retired neighbours down at number 5 we live at number 1 only have 9 houses on our street. They started feeding him and he started going in the house well that was it then he only comes back home to be fed now. My other is Kitty got her from the farm too she is about 4 now. Was the runt of a litter and still looks like a kitten now but super friendly likes lap sitting and sleeps on the bed on a night. Sometimes there is no room for us humans with the cat and one of the dogs on the bed or in the bed!! Other dog sleeps with my son and wo betide anyone who goes near him. Is and has always been very protective of him.

I hope your sons new cat brings just as much therapy as his previous one. Sounds great 9 bucks for every thing done with her. Anything like that over here from the RSPCA for example would be about 100 GBP. Has he named her yet? Never heard of Korat before.

I've got the eggs ready going to set on Sunday!! I can't wait :cd

I have been thinking about it but feeling so bad i am afraid i cant tend them til i am better. sounds like u have a bed full. I let one dog sleep with me but today i found a tick crawling on my back. YUCK ! time to break out the meds.

Olga that's a lovely name for her. Ooh I love blue cats especially the ones with the tiger stripes. I bet she is beutiful. Yes going to set eggs in the morning getting the incubator unleashed from its box this afternoon so that's it's good to go in the morning. Had saved 6 Ginny eggs up to put in too but I came home yesterday and the other half had eaten four of them!! My own fault really as I didn't say for sure I was putting it on only that I may. Well that will teach me won't it.
So with the one I got from her this morning I have 3 of hers to put in. Got lots of polish so just going to see how many I can fit in. I'm going to do more of the silver lace Roos to get a bit more colour. Bash the blue splash always throws blue chicks no variety.

TICK makes you itch just thinking doesn't it :barnie

ticks SUCK ! lol you can wait a day and add one more ginny . back to 4. just add it tomorrow . it will probably come with the others. mark it as a day . I have done this before. so you like the nae? all the grandkids find it odd buy i like it. it is a russian name from an almost russian cat.

Pictures of Olga or she never happened! :lau

I have a Russian blue female, spayed. She is the best cat I have ever had. But, I think when she is gone to kitty heaven, I will not replace her. I must be getting old, suddenly the cat hair is a real pain. And it gets harder to justify all the money I spend on litter. And flea control, and she gets a bladder infection every year or so........

My daughter has autistic children, but they don't seem to warm up to animals. I am so glad your son finds joy in cats.

.......and pictures of the chicks, also, please!

I think everyone is tired of doing pics. for me .
