LOL, you and me both. the weight of a serama egg on day 10 is 19 grams. I think that is too low.

Black alstrop/swedish flower rooster came fast and is BIG ! perfect hatch, next one is zipping. I am pretty sure this is all i will get but cant see in the last one very well.

#2 hatched had some thick mucus (yellow) in the shell, stuck to its head , fell in the brooder. never seen anything like it. umbilical looks fine.

third one is turned wrong little pip and some blood. still alive but it will need help come tomorrow.

finished the hatch of the 3rd one this morning. it had 3 strands of umbilical attached. all is good. opened the seramas and same as before. it is trying to walk upright already. strong, all 3 of them and all 3 look the same.

So pleased you got that third one out ok. Sorry about the seramas With you having these three hatch I would think it is the parent birds as you said before and not the incubator.

I have four polish laying now and am having to stop myself from getting the incubator out and testing them!! They are all still young and the Roos only hatched this year too so I'm going to wait a few more weeks if I can stop myself
