i got it for free too, which is always a bonus. The woman over the road was moving and she put a load of stuff out with a sign saying "Free to good home" so was straight over there. Got the guinea cage, a dog kennel and two rabbit hutches for nothing. I Was like stig of the dump up and down the road with my wheel barrow!!

really hard to say since you wernt home, could of lost power for a while, humidity mat be off. have you checked the eggs to make sure they are fertile ? 

Yes mam. I candled them b4 I left. My dad was there the whole time taking care of my animals he said no power loss? What's frustrating is I probably had 4 thermometers and all read different plus 2 hygrometers that both read different?? So very frustrating

Hi there alisan! Did you open any unhatched chicks to see what stage of development they got too? I would take a guess at humidity problem especially if you have two hygrometers that are reading different. You could recalibrate them so they are giving you a more correct reading. How old are your eggs that you are setting? The fresher the eggs the better the hatch rate.

yes, they are in lock down and i candled and all but one looks real good. one (polish looke to be a few days behind the others ? cold spot ? the one serama is still kicking as well !
