Blessing for sure!! Not been able to grab stuff keeps the bill down and would stop me from putting lots of naughty stuff I should not be eating in the trolley

Back to eggs now, have just candled before I head off to bed and all 27 look ok Have got one that has a large air sac, too big for day 14 it's quite a porous egg so I'm thinking its lost more moisture that the others. The chick was very active in it and squirming about in the light so hopefully it will hatch ok. Going to mark it on day 18 and see if it hatches.

sounds great !!! maybe the porous one directly under the humidity or maybe even a bit of extra sponge for it ? I hats coming home and not being able to sample all the goodies ! hahaaa If i dont have chocolate then i aint got nuttin !

It's right under the humidity evaporation pad that's in the incubator already. I can see the porous bits in the egg when I can candle it's all speckled. It just lost too much right now. I'm going to leave it all as it is for now because other eggs are looking good so I don't want to risk messing others up for the sake of this one egg. What will be will be I guess. Was active enough last night.

MMM......... Love Cadburys. never seen the ice cream though. Just at Easter we have the little eggs then chocolate bars all yr. I have been looking at all your avatars, you have some really cool ones. sponge bob is cute. lol I tried reading the words above it. never did figure them out. I still dont feel well. I have someone coming today to look at a dog kennel I have for sale . sometime after 2 . I went to the flea market yesterday and walked a lot ! Paid for it too. hahaaa hope all is well on your end.

OMG OMG I have a broody hen e Little frizzle one is broody. Been a bit odd for a couple of days. Collected eggs a little later today and she was showing broody so left her in there and she was still sat hours later. Have just moved her to a coop and run and she wasn't fussed just nestled down straight away again. She's got 5 under her, she's only small so I think it's enough. Oh I just can't believe I have a broody polish!! I hope she stays on them ok.

My first broody and I feel a little nervous. Worse than the incubator worries even those she is doing it all.

All good here and I'm excited.

I like a change of avatar, can you tell. Title at the minute is "Polish chicken fancier" in polish. At least I hope it is, that's what Google translate said anyway.

Thanks granny! I know it's shocked me thought I was going to have to get a silkie fir the job. Will get some pics of her when I check on her tomorrow. She's proper spread out like a pancake and well fluffed up. But looks very content.

Oh I hope she does not stop sitting. Still got a week to go with the 27 in the incubator. Would have to get the emergency Chinese requiring a lot of babysitting incubator out. She best stay on that nest

Well first day has gone well for the little hen She got off by herself to eat, drink and poop. Was off about 40 minutes but started to look a little list so I ushered her back up to the coop and she got back down on them ok. So far so good. Here she is ~
