Blood yolk with no shell

Over night one of my hens passed a round blood “yolk”. It was very firm with no white or shell. We have had torrential rains, and the pasture and run are completely soaked. I’m not sure which hen it was. All are acting normal this morning. I took scrambled eggs with the shells and added flax seeds, oregano and crushed red pepper flakes out to them, which they all started eating. Also, we had a neighbor’s dog attack a few weeks ago and I lost two of my hens. Could this be stress? I’ve searched the internet, but have not found any thing that matches what I have. TIA

I don’t know what happened to my reply on Sunday, but I’ll try to post again:
I didn’t get a photo of it. When I went back out to the pasture where I had thrown in it, something had already eaten it! I was like a hard boiled yolk, but red. All the hens are acting normal. Eating and Drinking and foraging all day. Hopefully it was just some weird fluke. I’ll have to start carrying my phone with me when I go outside!

I got one today and am wondering the same thing. One of my Easter Egger hens, a pullet, seems to have some kind of prolapse and I've been monitoring it, but she's eating and drinking normally and running around and I suspect she's the one that sometimes lays eggs streaked with a little bit of blood. If what was expelled is like the one that @pamiejune has pictured, it's an Intact Follicle.

See that the hens are eating a nutritionally balanced poultry feed and have oyster shell free choice.

There's not really anything you can do about an expelled intact Follicle, it's just an ovum that's been released with the follicle still surrounding it.

Here's a bit more information.
