Ok well i went out to my coop yesterday and found what i think is a goose egg and it had skid marks of blood on it....is that normal...this would have been the gooses first egg ever...it was a toulouse goose....

My first few duck eggs every spring tend to have a few blood spots in them, but I've never had any blood on the outside of the eggs.

Many "first-time" egg layers will have some blood on the outer shell. This goes away quickly once they lay regularly.

I've had a few bloody skid marks on the outsides of a few of my duck eggs, but had subsequent eggs look fine. Seen it with hens too.
