It's hard and scabby like.
He/she took a long time to dry too.
I saw the bloody butt on the quail I hatched but it was just on the butt not on the stomach as well.
I'm gonna try and load a picture (just for practice) it's not very good. I should've had a flashlight on the bird itself so you could see the blood better. But you can see how close the second lesion is to the butt.
