Is is safe to eat a bloody egg? I have 6 new layers, no rooster but I cracked open an egg this morning and the yolk was bloody. TIA

Yes it's fine, it won't hurt you It's just a little blood or tissue from the egg-making process, it doesn't even change the flavor
