My 1st three eggs, ever!
Cleaned em up, had bacon in the pan, and low and behold, blood spots in my eggs. Wth?
So, is this because the egg makers are new at it, machinery needs to come up to speed, or typical?
Sorta grossed me out, thot id ask about it.
Started them as chicks early may. This is the first from a flock of 14, 10 emerald gems, 4 red girls, dunno what breed. No roosters within driving distance, btw.

It can be due to them being new layers, or stress, though some birds may have a tendency to produce "spotty" eggs. The eggs are perfectly safe to eat but if it grosses you out, crack each egg into a cup before using/mixing into anything, and pick out the spots with a spoon.
