I have a 5 month old fayoumi who seems to have blood coming from her neck, I’m not sure how, and if anyone know what could have caused this then your help would be appreciated, also I need to if I should/what I should do for her. I have a 5 month old Plymouth cockerel with the flock, but I’ve never seen him do something like this.

She has definitely been injured. You need to clean it up with betadine or saline solution. See what kind of wound you're dealing with and put triple antibiotic ointment on it. I would remove her from the flock and keep her in a safe and quiet place for a couple days. Then I would spray the wound with Blu-Kote before putting her back with the flock because they will peck at anything red. Good luck with her! Watch for fly strike!!!

I hope you find out what the problem is. I just wanted to ask how many Fayoumi you have?

Looks sort of like a cut? Could she have gotten her head stuck by some wire or something?

She is the only fayoumi I have, we have 5 adult hens, and 5 pullets, plus her, she is above 3 of the pullets in the pecking order. They are currently free ranging over 2/3 of an acre, and I don’t think I can catch her, I will try but I don’t want to further injure her. There is some exposed edges of chicken wire in they’re run, but nothing that I know she could cut herself on like that btw there is no blood on any of the oft her chickens, and we do have sand hill cranes and geese land in our yard but I doubt either could get to her like that.
