My rooster has blood on him. I also see blood on one of other chickens. They are very interested in a corner but we can’t figure what has happened. I’m not sure what to look for. A few of the chickens are pecking at the rooster now, in the I just red spot. There’s also some blood in the feeder.
Can you help me come up with some theories? And also, what should I do?

Great. Why so high? Can you lower it to chest high?

It is higher than the other feeders because I don’t want this to be the dominant feeder. This type of feeder doesn’t work great as they flick out more food than they eat (hence the other feeders that I have). I don’t mind having this feeder primarily for my big rooster. And some of my other tall hens.

Looks like he had mild frostbite and is also catching it on the feeder.
x2. Combs bleed easily so while the damage isn't significant, he bled like it was. Hopefully he prefers the new feeder so he doesn't continue to rub his comb into the feeder port.
