My girl was acting odd so I seperated her out and several hours later a nasty little bugger popped out!

My husband started adding sod and treated seeds several weeks ago and I have been tossing the eggs in case they ate the seeds. Anyways, the sod, seeds, and new flock party treats were the only changes to their diet. Is this a diet issue or internal issue?
Thanks in advance!

Poor girl does not feel well. What were the seeds treated with?
The bag says the seeds coated with Mefenoxam. Not particularly dangerous for birds, but considered mildly toxic. I did some research and found that Scott's brand pled guilty to knowingly using toxic pesticides in 2012 in bird feed, so I'm not trusting their packaging since not all ingredients need to be disclosed. All I know is, that sod, seeds, and Flock Party grains were the only change when I started seeing soft shell eggs a few weeks ago. We added sand and dirt on top of the grass over the weekend but then I saw the sand said it has carcinogens in it that California law says causes cancer! I cant win and not sure when I can start eating eggs again and if my girls will be ok. 😧
