i got 5 brahma chicks and 10 silkie chicks thru the mail in june. 4 of the 5 brahmas have died. they didnt send the rooster so we had to reorder and that means we had to get 3 more hens so they would ship the missing mail. any how now 2 of the splash silkies are pooping blood!!!! i dont know if it is coccidiosis or what. HELP!!!!

If you are seeing bloody poop, then it would be best to treat for Coccidiosis. Treatment is with Corid which can be found at most feed stores and online.

Corid dosage is 1 1/2 teaspoons Corid powder per gallon or 2 teaspoons of 9.6% Corid liquid per gallon. Give for 5-7 days - make sure this is the ONLY water available during that time period. Mix a fresh batch at least once a day.
