Bloody stool? Pics attached!

I noticed this morning what looks like to be bloody stool in my chicks pen. They (2) are about 11 weeks old & have been on Purina medicated feed. Last night I fed them some parsley but I don’t recon that’s the cause. What should I do? Much appreciated!

They probably have coccidiosis, where their system becomes overwhelmed by above normal levels of coccidia protozoa. How are their energy levels?

I would start them on corid. Here are directions on dosage.

Make sure there are no vitamin supplements given at the same time, one of the B vitamins interferes with the effectiveness of corid.

Their energy level has been normal. I read that when they have coccidiosis they might huddle together but they've always done that.

It's more like they will squish their neck down, like they are feeling cold. You should try the corid either way, and it's always good to have on hand. They should sell it wherever you get your feed.

I got the corid and I think I'm giving too much. Would you be able to tell me how much corid to give for 750ml or 25.63 ounces. I just use a mason jar for their water right now.

So a quart jar that is 32 oz needs 1/2 tsp. You will want to use a little bit less than that if your jar is 25 oz.

If you wanted to, and you have an 1/8 tsp measure you could fill it up three times to get a more exact dose, but I think either would be fine.

Ok thank you! Maybe it was a misunderstanding between me and the guy at the feed store but I was giving them a tablespoon. Although they've probably only drank half of the jar in a day.
