Bloody vent

It appears she has prolapsed this morning. There's something sticking out. I can't get a good pic as I am here by myself and she is fighting me even looking.

soak in warm water then lube with KY or vaseline or honey and push back inside wrap her in a towel this helps when I have to do things alone. Main thing you don't want it to dry out.

We just lost a duck due to this a month ago with our own efforts. I got a contact for a vet who will look at her. It's an hour away and I will be leaving soon. Should I put KY on her before taking her? I just don't want a repeat of last month and I'm scared...

Don't put anything on it.

I agree I rec I said in my post if you were treating at home. Hopefully the vet can help. Let us know.

I guess I got a little impatient and I put a little on it before I saw this... We got a call that the vet couldn't see her today but we found someone who could see her in a couple of hours. It won't hurt her that I put it on her will it? I hope I didn't just mess things up...

Not at all they can wipe it off but you need to keep it moist anyway so you did good.
