Anything happening yet????
Well, Ken cut down two annoying trees. Kendra got the KAFO's removed from her AFOs and now can't walk worth diddly.

I got a bill this morning that I thought I'd paid ages ago. Called the company and raised a little Cain. As it turns out, it wasn't my bill. I'd opened a letter that was put in my mailbox by mistake because I didn't take the two seconds out to look at the addressee on the envelope. Daughter was here for coffee and smelled delightfully like the cigarette she'd had on the way over.

Other than that, nope. Nothing. No pips, no drips, no nuthin'. Still. <sigh>

Oh I have done things like that, the ranting a raving over things that turn out not even to be my problem. You're so funny, would it help to you know that three years after my quit, I don't immediately think about them, though I had to finally sit down and tell myself to knock it off before it stopped. I have walked in your shoes. Poor Kendra, I don't know what you letter stood for, but I know how happy she was to be walking, such an angel, she's probably smiling away during it all. And what makes a tree annoying? Does it ask too many questions?

Oh my. Good for Ken, poor Kendra, and I hate the smell of cigarettes too. Why did they have to remove her KAFO's ? And remind me to never annoy you if possible. .....sounds hazardous for your health!

Hello all Candled my remaining 26 eggs this morning day 14 1/2. For the most part they all looked good the air cells were right on target. I do have a slight question on four of them, but will let them remain until day 18 and reevaluate. I was very worried last night with extremely high winds here on the Maine coast. There was spotty power outages all over the county with tree limbs coming down, but my power never even flickered,so I lucked out this time. Lock down will be just a few days away now, will keep you posted. Happy Hatching

Put the incubator into lock down yesterday. The four eggs I was concerned with kept on developing and caught up with the rest. I can't believe the change in just 3 1/2 days, they grow at such a fast rate. So I'm still at 26 eggs and the air cells look good. I've kept the humidity at 30 % - 35 % the first 18 days and upped it to 75 % when I locked down. Its held steady at 75 % all night and today. I looked in on them this afternoon and there is one early pip. I don't know if that's good or bad. I'll re- dampen the sponge before I go to work tonight just to make sure everything behaves overnight. I'll update again tomorrow.
