I can't WAIT to start painting my eggs and hennaing them. I'm also curious about carving there's a guy on flickr that has a few rather amazing pieces that he's carved. So if you have ostrich or emu eggs that you don't want or would like to trade for please PM me. Or any eggs for that matter!
 
I love the look of the pysanky eggs!! I bought a couple of kits a few years back, one for a child, as I was going to do this with my grandaughter. She keeps reminding me we have never done our eggs!

I was even thinking of it this week! I'm thinking of this fall when things slow down a bit. A nice kinda crisp day with the smell of fall in the air! I don't know why, but that seems like the perfect time to do pysanky!! I saw it done on Reading Rainbow several years ago and thought it was the neatest thing. They are beautiful!
