BLRW Hatchlings!

So Turbo sent me some very nice BLRW eggs roughly 25 days ago.

Unfortunately, only 9 of them have hatched out so far. There was one other pip this morning, so my fingers are crossed.

At the time of the photoshoot, one was still in the incubator getting fluffed up and regaining its strength! (Hercules, Hercules!

At this point, individual pictures were taking wayyy to long. So we went with group shots!

Looks like she's trying to keep her sister (egg) company!

I am happily waiting to see if a few more will pop out! I'm also waiting on another 12 BLRW eggs from Turbo. Here's hoping for all pullets but one!

ETA: Anyone have any ideas regarding the variance in coloration?

I have some of of Turbo's eggs in the bator right now and can not wait to see if I get some cute little chicks just like those in about 15 more days!!!

I hatched some of their eggs last summer and I have very nice pullets out of them.

Thanks guys! I really do think that these will turn out very nice. I received the other dozen eggs from them (actually packed about 14), and cannot wait to put them in the incubator!

I just found this thread.....yeah our little chickies!!!!

the picture #5 & #6 look like they are going to have some deep dark red. That is a good thing. I see some splash in there also. Nice looking chicks.

How are the other eggs doing?
