New babies of the year!

We did incubate. Looking forward to one day have a broody hen and do all the work.
I got lucky with this hen, I pulled her off the eggs to let her dig in the dirt in the hen house again and when the other hen got to close to the baby she went off. So she’s doing an amazing job as a first time mom. She’s still sitting on the remaining eggs as well, I’m also making sure to do hands on time with the baby so it won’t be so shy of me when it gets older

Mom - little

Daddy - junior

They spent some time together, though little didn’t want my other hen near her baby.

Well it’s a little to early to know the sex for sure, but I’m hoping for a baby girl. The baby is about 3-4 days old now.

Well the baby is doing well, I will say sadly one of the ducklings was a quitter. The other duck egg and chicken egg is progressing well, hoping they hatch here soon!
