Silver is a pullet, LOL. I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. She may be that little one's mother. What I was trying to say is that even at 17 weeks, her comb is not as red as that little one's is at 9 weeks old. Here is Charlotte's daughter, Gypsy, at 8 weeks old.

Oh, good! That makes much more sense. I was lookin' at that photo of Silver and saying to myself, "now how does she see 'cockerel' there???".

Did you take a look at our Charlotte (straight run EE)? Any guesses on her gender at just 5 weeks?

I saw her. Looks girly to me! See that other blue hen in the background of the pic of Silver? That's my Charlotte! Good name!
