Ok besides the obvious cone and waddles how can you see the difference in feather growth?

too young to be that red...is a big give away. See how pale the Pullet of the same age is.

She will redded up about week 16 to 18

Well, your hen is a black from the BBS breeding tis' why it looks so different in color (you probably know this). Hens don't normally have all the bells and whistles that the roosters do. The roosters saddles and neck are of a darker shade.

Yup. Over 4 of my breeds are show birds: Light Sussex, Blue Andalusian, Partridge Rock, and Buff Rock to name a few. I am showing a Partridge Rock pullet at a show next month

Thank you that’s what we thought but we’re so hoping they were hens. I need to get rid of the last two I’ll keep one.
