Blue Andalusian

I have seen some of the pictures on here that show what a Blue Andalusian looks like. One heading said True Blue Andalusian. I am not sure how old the chickens and rooster I saw in the pictures were at the time of the picture, but they look beautiful. I bought some as biddies and now this is what they look like. Am I right that these are juvenile blue Andalusians. And was wondering if correct on thinking the lighter ones are the roosters.

The first 2 pics are of a Cuckoo Marans pullet. 3rd pic is a Cuckoo Marans cockerel.

They are not Blue Andalusians. Very likely cuckoo Marans , and the lighter birds are cockerels.

So the colors of these will pretty much stay this way. I bought them as blue Andalusians. I bought them in March. I am now kind of disappointed. That a big chain farming supply store can sell baby chicks as one thing and they turn out to be something else. I bought them hoping that I would get one blue Andalusian rooster out of them for my roommate. Any one know a good place to get blue Andalusians.

Many hatcheries carry them. Murray McMurray, Meyer, Hoover, etc.
