Blue Andalusians??

I have an ongoing hatch of blue andalusians and have noticed that some are very light silver, some are black and some are sort of mixed. Is this because they are like anything else blue--some will be blue, some black etc. or does this indicate sex in some way?

It's because they are like any other blue colored bird. They will give blue, splash and black just like any other blue breeding.

I have a splash Andie that I got from MacMurray as my "free rare and exotic" chick. I started to order a mate for her but as I recall the ad said that they don't breed true-you can get a blue or a splash.....or a black? Sorry, it's been awhile and I'm too lazy to go dig up the info at MM right now.
