Blue Australorps

Hi all I bought a dozen fertile eggs and put them under a broody hen. Two of them were Australorp eggs, one of which hatched. I was just expecting the chick to be black but he has gone blue. Does anyone know if he will stay blue or if he will go black after his first moult? Any info on Australorps would be appreciated. Cheers

He is a real cutey. I think the egg was mislabeled - doesn't look like an Australorp at all. You might want to post the photo at "what breed or gender is this," and see what others come up with.
