They are about three and a half weeks old now. Aren't they cute? walkswithdog is coming to get the barred EE's next week, blacks and blues. I left the pics big so you could see the detail on the chicks. If they are too large, refresh the page and see if that helps.

Below are two very different Blue Orp x (RIR/Buff Orp) babies that belong to Meg. The barring is a total mystery...no chance of a mix up with the roosters, I promise.

I am loving these.

I have my Rhode Island Red in with my HINKJC Buff Orpington Roo. I am going to hatch out a couple of their babies to see what I end up with.

Oh they're just gorgeous! I so can't wait to come get them. And Meg's baby is a total hoot. I'm all jazzed. Blue barred is such a neat color. I can't wait to see how the different Meg's babies you have and that are hatching turn out. This is fun.

I think mine may both are cockerels, but crazyhen has one of Meg's that is the prettiest pullet.

Thanks. The little Meg babies are actually a week younger than the EEs. I'll probably let each broody keep their Meg baby for a bit, then find them new homes, too.
