Thanks! I'm tickled! I have hatched several similar chicks from that pen, but they all have had feathered shanks and/or dark skin and/or extra toes and/or Naked Necks.

On this one chick, the genes lined up just right to start yet another project pen.
I wasn't expecting it because all the birds in the pen have Ameraucana blood, but none have beards/muffs. Surprise!
I was actually hovering over the hatcher when this one hatched and thought "drat! nice chick, but I want more NN's".
I take it back --- I like this one just like it is!!
