Hatched out July 1. Blue/Black pure Orpingtons. The blues have wonderful lacing and lay well. Buy a couple and cross the blue with a black and get some more blues for your flock.
The Blue/Black-Buff Orpington crosses are some of the friendliest birds that most people will ever find. They lay and grow exceptionally well. These are what is in the main picture.
We also have some Blue Orpington crossed with Gold or Silver Laced Wyandottes. They will look blue or black with rose combs of the Wyandotte and the friendliness of the Orpington. As the males mature they will have a little of the Gold or Silver showing. They grow to a very nice size for dinner or as layers.
