I haven't ordered from a hatchery for quite a few years....that was the original reason I gave him for getting my first incubator.....I wanted to hatch my own...not get them from the hatchery anymore!! Think he remembers that?! If I can at least get some from the eggs then I can build from there...I guess I'll just wait and see what happens with them. I need to candle them.....just haven't taken the time to yet.

Ive come to realize that my DH has an excellent memory when it comes to stuff I dont want him to remember. LOL If worse comes to worse, I can ship you eggs next summer under the guise of you needing table eggs.

If I can figure out a place to put them i'm going to order some from welp.When I do I'm going to get some of the buff Wyandottes also.Welps doesn't ship small orders so I've got to wait awhile or get rid of some chickens I have now.

I've got some more room left but have to give up the garden behind the house.That still doesn't give me permission though.Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
