I have done many different things to eggs & use the spray on sealer. It comes in flat, satin & gloss. You can even get it with glitter in it in either gold or silver.

I use 1/8 inch satin ribbon folded it in half & tie a big knot in the cut ends together. I use a bamboo skewer to thread the knotted loop through the egg. I have one end with a larger hole than the other end of the egg. Put the loop through the largest hole & then through the smaller hole & a filigree metal cap. Glue the cap in place & the knot keeps it from coming through. I use another cap to cover the hole on the other end.

So, I have several dozen eggs that now need sealing with mod podge. Are there any tricks to application?

And should I put on the bead cap with ribbon first?
