Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

Thanks everyone ~

Yes, I spray painted them with red, purple, and gold (gloss) ... let it dry, and then applied the stickers (they weren't rub-ons ... can't find any) ~ and then applied 2 coats of Mod Podge spray ... gloss. I got these from Hobby Lobby.

Do you have any problems getting the stickers to stay put? Does the Mod Podge spray help keep them stuck?

I have been having trouble finding nice Christmas rub-ons but can find loads of stickers. Some of the rub-ons don't go on really well too.

I love these and want to make some for our Church Holiday bazaar. Anyone willing to tell me how much you sell these for? I would like to know what price to put on them.

All i can say is wow all those eggs look amazing. being out of work xmas is going to be tight this year but this thread has inspired me i hate xmas cards or more to the point hate the expense for something that will end up in the recycle bin. my mum makes cross stitch cards which we put out every year. This year im going to try this and give instead of a card, home made gifts have always been valued more than bought in our house even if its not perfect it the time and effort thats appreciated thanks for bringing this thread up again, im a newish member so wouldnt have found it.

Sometimes I have problems with the stickers staying flat ... what I do is get a toothpick and get a dab of super glue on the tip, run it under the edge and used the other end of the toothpick to hold it down for a few seconds until it dries.
