I don't know for myself, but someone told me that Etsy gives you a store to sell from online. I'm going to check it out because I make clay horses and custom model horses and need to sell them. Also, someone suggested that I make flyers or brochures with color photos of my work and pass those out at coffee shops, feedstores, etc. - I haven't done that yet, either, but think I will soon.
Another thing that was suggested to me was to exhibit my stuff and pass out my brochures at art shows, state fair, etc.

I would try some little boutique type shops in your area. Every medium size town up to city has them. If your product is unique to them and fits their "style" a lot of them will either take consignment sales or may even purchase outright. You probably wouldn't get the amount of profit per piece as if you were selling yourself to individuals, but you would also have a lot less headaches and since weekend craft fairs are not an option it may work for you. I would take a look around several shops first, then narrow down those I was most interested to bring the eggs back and discuss w/ the owner the possibilities.

I would think if you were interested in doing this you would have best results in Durango, Albuquerque, or Santa Fe.
Just found this thread and I'm already thinking about when my 8 week old olive eggers start to lay in 4 months...! haha! I started looking up rub ons and found these!! Also joann's has 500+ rub ons!
I just wormed half of my flock so I'm getting about a dozen eggs a day that I am blowing out....what a chore!! Hubby says "What are you going to do with those?"...uh..."hoard them!" was my response!!
I just completed 82 eggs the other day. I was trying to get all the ones I had started but not finished completed befor the baby gets here. I had no idea it was that many until I counted them all yesterday.
