I hope that isn't against the rules!! I think you should be able to say so anytime you see a nice chicken, I think she is still around, ....stan

I'm glad because I get involved in a thread and then realize it started ages ago!

We all use quotes and we all join threads as we change our interest. There is democracy on BYC.

I joined after I became interested in BLUE. As of yet I have not posted pictures but I have acquired one blue Marans who lays a wonderful dark egg, one splash baby Marans male, and soon to acquire a blue Silkie male. Do blue eggs count ?

I love blue chickens. I even toyed with the idea of an all blue
flock, different breeds but all blues. My kids thought that
would be boring. I'll just wait until they all grow up and
move away.
Currently, I have a pair of blue D'anvers, and I just added a
blue hamburg, and a splash hamburg. Can't wait til the chicks
grow up!

I have thought about that too. But I do like the variety. I will have a mostly blue flock. Blue olive eggers, blue EE, blue rocks then the red ones to pay for everyone's feed

Seeing a Blue Cochin is what got me into chickens. I thought they were the most beautiful creatures I'd ever seen. Blue is my favorite animal color. I have 3 solid blue (gray) dogs and got the Guineas for that reason also. Here's a couple of my blue LF Cochin babies I hatched. They're 3 mo old now. And my Blue Silkie girl.
