This is a fun thread ! We have some blue chickens (I think in 3 of our breeds) ! I'll have to confirm with my son (he's the chicken expert) - exactly which ones.
I know we definitely have Blue Silkies (I rate them by the colors of gray: really light gray, medium gray, and a dark/almost black, like a charcoal gray). I'm sure there might be some technical "chicken terms" of these different blue colors.
We also have (I think) blue Marans. (The rooster is called Copper Blue Splash) What's that Andulasian blue term ? (I think someone mentioned about this chicken).
And I know we have some Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas (bantams). Some hens for sure, not positive about that rooster if he's just Wheaten or Blue Wheaten. Like I said, I'm not the chicken expert. My 12 yr. old son is. I just try and remember some things I pick up from him !
Not sure if those "mystery colored" Ameraucanas count as blue. I think my son called one or two of them lavendar ? (that's a type of blue too, right, the really pale gray ?)
Anyways, all you chicken experts.....you can just see for yourselves on the website with your own expert chicken eyes. I'm sure the pictures speak for themselves about what colors they are.
Does a blue tail count as blue ? (I think my son named one of those Assorted Bantams as having a blue tail but it's mostly white)
Check out all of our chicken pics (and goats and fish if you're interested). I try and update every so often when I have time. Pics are dated in the captions (at least the recent ones)
