Goodness me. Maybe it is as I suspect. Just my luck lol. I want to ask why that is. Is it because of the way he holds his tail feathers?First one looks like a pullet,
Second one id watch its probabaly a cockerel
It's his comb size for me.Goodness me. Maybe it is as I suspect. Just my luck lol. I want to ask why that is. Is it because of the way he holds his tail feathers?
Early comb development its to early as his male saddle feathers arent in yet to tell by feathering.Goodness me. Maybe it is as I suspect. Just my luck lol. I want to ask why that is. Is it because of the way he holds his tail feathers?
Darn. Well, I do have an MMM or a BCM cockerel already from the same batch that I'm 99% positive about. I was hoping that would be it out of the Marans.Early comb development its to early as his male saddle feathers arent in yet to tell by feathering.
My black copper marans had a larger comb at 5 weeks and were crowing.
That is what I'm hoping for. If you look at the picture above of the black cockerel, that's who I've been comparing them with because I'm fairly certain he's a boy. Need a good name for him, and need to know if he's a MMM or a BCM.So far none of them look male to me as I would expect to see much bigger and redder combs and wattles on a five weeks old male Marans chick.
