Blue copper marans male or female?

So these guys are coming up 9 weeks old this weekend and we are still unsure about the sex! Anyone have any idea?

That’s what i was worried about we have been trying for 2 years to hatch females! last years hatch we got sold the wrong eggs they ended up black coppers now this year we hatch out three boys guess it’s just not meant to be!

What is your male:female ratio?

From my experience a chronically stressed hen will have mostly male offspring, so in case the rooster is a brute or their confinement is too small etc. all can lead to more male offspring.

They are very handsome boys. Did you keep any of the Black coppers that turned out to be hens? If so you could keep one of the boys and try for Blues between them.
