Blue Egg Layers from University of Arkansas

I might be giving the cockerel away to a friend that has a blue egg layer project.

After this week, I will have eggs available from the Blues if anyone would like some. I have been getting excellent reports on development and hatch from my shipped eggs. I try to send at least 8 for an order of 6.
 
I got an email from Tom Whiting this morning. His Business model it to serve the local market within a 300 mile radius so they do not ship.

If you live close to him to get em!

I took a picture of one that hatched form your hatching eggs. I have three that look like this splash chick:



I also have 4 Blue ones. Very pretty!

I think the amazing thing with the splash on these is that the white is so crisp. It is a brilliant white. I have noticed on the blues that they come in many varied shades of blue. Do you have one of the blue splash by any chance? Every once in a while the ones you think are blue are actually a blue background splash with darker blue markings.

Darn it! I'm in Florida so no hope for getting any of those.Thanks for the info though.guess I'll have to learn how to hatch my own eggs instead of buying them already hatched.lol!
