how do you work towards making darker blue eggs?

When banding the birds note which cockerels came from the darkest blue eggs. Breed them to darker blue egg layers. Mix and repeat for few generations.

Breeding to a goal is narrowing genetics,. Choosing what you desire and moving forward breeding only that.
