Yes, I totally agree. Holding on to a small bit of hope, but making arrangements just in case. :/ I'm bummed, but maybe next year when i add chicks, I'll get a female.

I'm thinking roo. I have a blue Orp roo(I think) who is like 5 weeks old, maybe older. They look kinda similar.
But I had a splash who was really slow getting her feathers in, turned out to be a beautiful pullet! So I have had a female that feathered in slow. (she also seemed to have this odd yellow-green tint)
