Blue English Orpington, anyone want to take a guess? :)

I bet someone has one to spare. Ask around on the NorCal loop or see if Papa Brooder has a juvie available.

I might do that (check with the norcal loop). Frank is from Papa's, and I've been harassing/stalking Jeff a bit (haha), so I know he doesn't have any right at this moment. :) Or I might just deal with my current roo(s) and then add more/try again next year when/if someone goes broody. :) I live in the city and have pretty strict limits, so I'm trying to take it slow. It's hard. LOL :)

Well, Lisa aka TheKeeper is a hatchaholic. So you could just let her know that if and when she hatches a round of BBS, you'd like a blue pullet (or two, as integration is MUCH easier with two new birds than one). I know she rehomed the blue I gave her, so she doesn't have any now and knowing her, she wants some, LOL!

Haha! Well maybe I will do that. :) And two is better than one anyway!! :D Besides, I'm 95% positive that two of my chicks will have to go, so I would really just be ending up where I started, right?? ;) Thank you so much for your knowledge! :)

I'm thinking roo. I have a blue Orp roo(I think) who is like 5 weeks old, maybe older. They look kinda similar.

But I had a splash who was really slow getting her feathers in, turned out to be a beautiful pullet! So I have had a female that feathered in slow. (she also seemed to have this odd yellow-green tint)

I had a runt splash with yellow legs. She got rehomed, and is still half the size of her hatch mates.

Ah thanks for this! Good to know. :)

Here are some updated photos. Frank is about 6.5 weeks old now. I'm still not confident enough to rehome him. Waddles are a little pink but not bright or anything. Comb is still not pink except at the base, but so are my other pullets. His feathers are finally coming in and they are gorgeous!! So silvery. :) I will update again next week. :)
