I wanted to post a couple of my blue fav. She had a rough start but is doing amazing with the other girls. They are just a touch over 4 weeks!

The time has come, she finally layed her first egg (hers is top right)
Looks a lot like my legbars egg (bottom left), I was expecting a bit more green, but still exciting seeing the rainbow of color when checking the nest boxes

I'm on egg watch for our Gracie girl. She is 21 weeks tomorrow and has checked out the nest boxes a couple times. WHICH btw, I think is a little small for her big butt. LOL. Also - she is by far the loudest of my flock. Squawks and honks and definitely has a lower gritty sound to her voice. She squatted for me on Thursday so I'm hoping any day! How old were your BF when they laid their first egg?

Woohoo! So not super late! I can’t wait! I need a little color to my daily treasure find. Not that I’m not thankful for the white and brown. Green would be an excellent addition! How many a week does yours lay?
