Thats right! Gorgeous! The other eggs - are they from OE? The blue one - Amauracana or blue laying EE?

I know this is an old thread, but I just made this cross so I thought I’d add some pics here for reference

I have just 3 chicks from a salmon fav rooster x splash Ameraucana hen

Two are a darker blue and one is lighter, all have 5 toes on each foot and feathered feet

A couple of these are not the best pictures... but I’ll try to get more as they age

Some new pics of the wing color I’m seeing...

the two darker chicks have this:

Not sure if this means anything for this cross ( like the way salmon Faverolles feather out differently, with dark wings for males and light for females) or if none of that applies?

But Ill try and document it as they get older.... that is unless someone knows already?

They’re uncooperative is how they are, Lol

I’ve tried to get some pics a few times in the last week or so... these are the best I have been able to do.

The light one is feathered in as expected:

Here she is with one of the darker ones:

I’m all but certain that this one has decided he wants to crow when grows up, this picture is a week or so old

I just took this pic of all three on the roost, you can see a lot of the red leakage that is coming in on the suspected cockerel, I think he’s going to be kind of an interesting looking fella

I suspect my hen was hiding something genetically speaking under her blue, that has contributed to the two dark ones... I would guess if ordered from a hatchery the light blue would be what you would get.

I think the difference is the one with the ‘red leakage’ is a cockerel
