Blue Italian?

Is there such a thing as a blue Italian, or might it be called something else? I have bred a wild pattern blue female with an Italian male and some of them come out like pale Italians. They seem to be more difficult to feather sex as well. Just curious about this combination so any info would be great! Thanks
